There will be plenty of food, drinks and wine tasting too. Tickets R180 at Computicket. www.bluesfest.co.za.

Albert Frost (The Blues Broers) says:

The Table Mountain Blues Summit is a great festival because it showcases all of SA’s blues acts in one place. I’ve performed there a few times and people have such a jol – it’s a really great vibe.
The crowd is a total mix of people – I’ve seen entire families, kids and everything. But generally, it’s a bit of an older crowd. It’s surprising how many blues lovers there are out there.
Blues is such a cool style of music because it leaves a lot for improvisation and it’s a very emotional, so you can feed off that. It always makes people feel better when they hear the blues.
Three things I recommend people bring to the festival are sunscreen, extra money to buy some CDs, and Essentiale.
